I'd completley missed that cheers gally. While i have your attention, is the CarPro PERL any good? Could do with a trim restorer, and sounds like it could be used for the engine bay, and tyres too?
Reading it, sound like my plan was along the right lines. Going to start with 2k grit, then 2.5k...
So going to have a go at sorting my headlights out at some point soon. Bought some meguairs Plastx as it was only a £5 at a motor factors near us. Just need to get some paper sorted, and a day spare for the headlights. Tempted to just take them out so I can sit down so my gammy knee doesn't kill...
At least people are having a similar problem as me then :D lol.
Next plan of attack is to double check tyre pressures. Recheck Top mounts, Steering Rack Bushes (paint marker to see movement), check shocks for leaks, check for cracked springs.
If I can't spot anything, then I'll wait till the...
On reading through this section today, peanuthead is having pretty similar problems to me. He had his alignment done, and it sorted it he said.
So the bloke yesterday said -1 toe out +1 toe in which makes it parallel? is this right as I seriously can't work out whats right or not with alignment :(
So having read through a large proportion of threads along a similar vein, i'm going to put my problem down, and whats been checked.
Its mainly when accelerating, but will happen at relatively low speed on camber changes, and big pit holes. It can pull either way, but its fairly strong...
On this point, I have p zero neros on the front, love them.
Everywhere I've looked having the same for the back will end up costing me £50 more for 205 than 195. However I have 205s on already and I'm not sure its a good idea having tyres different widths. Is it as bad as I think it is or...
I thought yours was a cup Phil, so no aircon? If you recon the dephaser is fine, Mick at diamond motors charges £335 for 172 cups. This is from his last update on prices last year, and he just booked me in under the same prices (although mine has aircon and needs a dephaser) for mid Feb.
No...
Not that anyone seems to care, but got the misfire sorted. Failed coilpack.
Still a little mystified as to why the box didn't report there was a misfire though?
So posted asking about my RS tuner reading misfires, connected and says no faults found. I've still got a misfire?!
Any ideas apart from changing random parts?
Surely you could adjust the pedal map for a more responsive throttle?
My very very limited experience seeing my dads Saab mapped has a mode to add a multiplier to the throttle map comfort, normal and sport. The sport multiplies the percentage by 1.5, meaning at 10% for example he'll get 15%...
Haha. Nice cases them. My PC is getting old now. It'll have to wait a while now though.
Still plays Far Cry 3 on high settings though! Needs a reformat though :(
out of interest, why does it have to be as quiet ad the original? I have a Miltek and its barely any noisier than the OEM exhaust unless you really put ypur foot down
