Renault roller it (loctite 519) on from factory.
Use that or the Victor Reinz stuff, not silicone sealant.
Hope you've washed the head out properly too, just in case there's any bits from the previous engine.
What does your torque wrench go to?
Just buzz them with the gun for a few seconds.
Put the bolts on the driver's side the other way too, not that it really matters though.
They've never just seemed to drop in for me. Always have to put a fair bit of pressure on the wishbone for the bolt holes to line up.
Aye f**k Meganes 😂
Stick it on a dyno and see what it makes.
That'll give you an idea if it's healthy or not.
I doubt you'll notice much as Northloop says, maybe a slight drop in torque if anything.
When you say fail to prime, is it struggling to start?
They don't prime on ignition on these (they do if you turn to ignition and then off and back on again).
I'd imagine it works off a failsafe type system.
If it were to rely on one sensor, you could potentially lose your speedo reading if that sole sensor were to fail surely?
This will end up like the USA with their EPA.
Basically trying to push a federal law to say that any car built for the road cannot be modified in anyway or even turned into a racecar for off-road use.
