    Just thought I'd do a little update. The car is running perfectly! starts up straight away every morning. So after buying a new TDC sensor, coil pack and HT leads! it was a £17 fuel sender unit!

    the car started first time this morning, didn't have to prime by turning the ignition on and off.. Wont be completely convinced until it starts up a couple more times first time when leaving it for more then 12hrs.

    I thought the fuel sender unit was the fuel pump!! I've ordered the round cylinder shape thing with the float on the side.

    i'm guessing the fuel pressure regulator is in the fuel pump? Also is their any point of changing the fuel filter? my cars covered 55,000 miles.

    These seems to be an issue!! Let alone clio owners who don't go on forums. Renault must of come across this a few times. Does anyone know if you can get the fuel regualtor valve separately or does it come with the fuel pump?

    Have an issue with fuel pump, If I leave the car for at least 12hrs I have to turn the ignition on turn it off and then the fuel pump will prime. I'm guessing this is an issue with a fuel pump relay, Does anyone know what relay it is under the bonnet?
