Bargain £37 Karcher deal from Tesco

Buy once though. Id had 3 Karcher K2s and 2 Nilfsk C130s in 5 years. and just got so fed up of them intermittently stopping. Granted Screwfix replaced one of the Karchers under warrenty as did Amazon on the Nilfisk. But you get to a point where you just cant be arsed with the crap Chinese...

Bargain £37 Karcher deal from Tesco

Personally im never going Karcher or Nilfisk again. I gave up with them after numerous failures and got myself a Kranzle. If you want something that's decent quality rather than the cheap plastic rubbish units out the the 1050TST from Kranzle

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Yes 10mm rear axle spacers and 16mm hubcentric fronts. Plus I have a roll centre kit which adds another 5mm per side up front. So the fronts are probably out 20mm or so.

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Yes I’m on PH. Although only a thread for the Clio on there. Nothing much on my Cayman as frankly there’s not a lot to say about it. Lol.

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

So as of last Monday I’ve been removed from furlough and sent back to work. This means I could finally get some wheel time and enjoy driving the little Clio again. Thursday night as I pulled off the drive, and heard what I thought was a knock from the OS front. Bugger!!! First look I could get...

    Clio 172/182 hidden rust traps

Behind the fuel filler Behind skirts and wheel arch liners Rear inner sills behind doorcards Door moldings and skirts trap grit which abrade the paint away and corrosion sets in. Same for the rear arches where they meet the bumpers. Grit gets trapped between the 2 panels and wears the paint...

Car Battery Charger. Buying Advice needed

Just an IP65 enclosure. Pretty sure Screwfix sell them. About £20 quid from memory.

    1*2 Subframe Nutserts

What Eddie said. Piece of piss to use and once you do, you’ll find they have all manner of uses.

    1*2 Subframe Nutserts

Don't see any reason why you can drill out and replace? Hardest part will be getting any remnants out of the subframe.

If you had to choose one or the other for your clio?

All Polybushes and get a new OEM shifter and some brass/bronze bearings for it.

    The unicorn jc5

Great to see. I'm willing to bet my original box is in similar condition as iv'e always changed the oil and nurtured it too. Great to see that if you look after your things there's no reason for them to not provide many years of service. Nice job Mark :)

If you had to choose one or the other for your clio?

    Polybushed without question.

Show me your stud and nut kits.

Granted you may have not yet had a problem.... yet. But, It centres the wheel to a point yes, but why would you ever run that risk of having the studs trying to hold on to lateral loads as well as being in tension? This will fatigue the fasteners and eventually fail. With the wheel properly...

Show me your stud and nut kits.

Still required. The spigots centre the wheel and wheels always require an accurate centre. The studs or bolts are only there to stop the wheel falling off.

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Got the inners sills in satin black and then lots and lots of Dynax UB. These come with a longer tube nozzle which means you can get it right around the arches and hard to reach areas. I also Dynax’d from the door moldings down, so if moisture does indeed come in those areas then it’s all...

Anyone fancy giving Rally Navigation a crack?

I’ve done a few events with a mate in his Citroen C2R2 Max and an AE86 Corolla. Absolutely brilliant fun and probably the most fun you can have in a car. If I could devote the time to it, I’d do a lot more rallies. Not easy though being the man not behind the wheel, you have to navigate...

    Beam bushes

I know many folk run the PF items with great success however i was advised against them due to poor fit, so went with Whiteline. My car is a full interior, every day, road car, and i can say i've noticed absolutely no additional NVH or any sideffect to fitting the Whiteline items at all...

Interesting find this morning as it rained overnight. I found there to be water droplets from the side moldings on the drivers side and nothing on the passenger side? Coincidence?

    Rear Strut Braces

100% no no and even more so with a reclining seat. Get yourself a CG lock and leave harnesses for fixed buckets with either a suitable designated harness bar or roll cage.
