I got these ones mate, they fit perfectly and made the car look 100x better, rather have a brand new set of taiwan copys that fit and function as they should then spending ages trying to get the originals in...
Best time for you to do it would be now as you dont have as many outgoings as when you get your house, you sound like your in the same situation as i was in a couple of years ago and i chose the house option.. now im trying to figure out how to go racing on a much smaller budget, ive looked into...
If its mainly used on track then i would be looking at a higher grade but if its mainly a road car with the odd trackday then id stick to the manufacturers reccomended 5w40. Elf evolution sxr is cheap from renault on ebay. The millers nanodrive is alot more expensive but its proven to be a top...
Small update, changed the engine oil + filter for genuine stuff, gearbox oil, coolant, thermostat and header tank as the old one was too rust coloured to see what the level was. Also gave the car a good look over to see if anything else needs replacing, the front pads are quite low so will...
I've got one on mine mate, they are very good, made by evol engineering who also do ph2 mounts.. mine came with 2 spare bushes and 4 spare inner sleeves (2 metal, 2 plastic)
Should be good when Federal bring the 595 RS-RR to the UK, apparently are 1 second per lap faster than the old RSR around Tsukuba Japan. Can't find much info on them yet but they will hopefully have sorted the issues out with the old tyre, soft sidewalls/rapid shoulder wear etc...
Really common with them pal, they should be ok aslong as they dont come away from the back plate.. I was at brno last month with my mate riding a gsxr 1000 and he had cl carbon sintered pads in the bike and one of the friction blocks actually came away from the back plate, he wont be buying them...
Id be buying proper winter tyres for the mx5 mate, there designed to be used in colder weathers compared to a "summer tyre" or even an allrounder such as the rainsports. They will be better throughout the colder months even if it doesn't snow.
If the cl6 and brembo hc's are fine now i wouldnt be looking into spending more money if you dont need to, Ive used max discs before on another car and all they seemed to do was shorten the life of the pads, stick with what you know works...
Rc8 would be harder to modulate in wet conditions, i...
Federal 595 RSR mate as imprezaworks says, there similar to the AD08 but loads cheaper.. no point in going for a semi slick type tyre if your still going to be using it on the road. The RSR will be plenty good enough for what you want

Here mate, i think there a bargain when the cost of the meguiers restore kit is something like 20 quid
Depends where you take it mate but probably between 30-60 quid, small garage-dealers. If you have the time its easy to do yourself.. id have thought the threads would have stripped before the engine cover bolts become too tight to undo with hand tools!
I would sell you it if it had a full one Tom haha, its been cut quite a bit to try combat the scraping but turns out there scraping on the bit the bumper bolts to at the front bottom of the wing.. I bet they were never designed to stay intact at 165 mate!
Cheers @imprezaworks Im trying to...
Been a while since I've updated this but had a bit of time recently so got some stuff done.
I ordered a pair of new headlights as no matter how much time i spent trying to get the old ones looking good it just wasn't happening, there not genuine but the fit is brilliant and the car looks 100x...
Im looking forward to this even though im not very active on here as i work pretty much every minute im awake, hopefully the weather will be ok so everyone doesn't get soaked :)
