    crossovers

output from amp/hu goes to IN + & - mid in the door goes to WF + & - and i'd put the tweeter + to -3dB and the - to TW-
  7. Dink

    crossovers

yeah it's part of the original tweeter
  8. Dink

    crossovers

yeah you need the x-over to stop you from putting the mid range frequiencies(sp) into the tweeter which will damage it

    Rca leads

trust me if you get interferance(sp) it's nothing to do with the rca's being close to the power cable. also if current is induced into the rca it would be equal on both the signal and ground of the rca so it wouldn't actually do anything
  10. Dink

    Rca leads

where does this interferance come from??? remember it's DC and not AC every car i've had and fitted audio equipment into i've run them on the same side (i've even got my remote as part of my rca's lol)
  11. Dink

    Rca leads

run them on the same side as the power as you still won't have any problems

14v idle voltage, 12@heavy load, normal?

with the engine running it shouldn't get anywhere near 12v i get my system voltage to drop to 12.2v when i've got my subs up full tilt and that with the engine NOT running i think most amps will cut out between 10-11v which is really killing your battery
