This, I ploughed lots into my old one. It was straight with low mileage/owners, but to make it 'proper' I must have spent another £1500 (although a large % of that was the Bilstein's fault I suppose :o) It was supposed to be a cheap run about whilst I sorted a house deposit!
Sometimes wish i...
Cheers fella
Here's another one of the same day,
2 day PC session lol, it was heavily swirled when i got it, BG, mint when clean, a fail 99% the rest of the time :(
From back in the day,
Some will remember this ;)
Then back to a brand new set,
Preferred this on the 182 Cupped rims,
Genuine Trophy items ;)
Most recent Cup, Silver is the bes for Mondial, fact iirc
Stupid Clio fetish :(
Yeah thats what I was getting at, just worded it badly.
You'll never imo need to spend anything like 3k on a 197, but you'll need over 3k to upgrade a 197 to a 200
Never got that argument.
You're going to pay another 3k for a 200, beacuse your 197 is about to be out of warrenty...... yet the 197 might be sound for another 3 years. If it does break you have that spare 3k to chuck at it??
ffs
With a clear coat you cant restore damaged faded base coat. You'll only be cutting at the clear coat. On a old car with no clear coat, a cutting compound will bring it up as new, but 90% of cars now have a clear coat finish.
Yeah, thats cos Vauxhall flame red has no clear coat. With a clear coat your only cutting that, so it wont have any effect on the colour of the paint below it.
T-cut works on Vauxhalls as there's no lacquer
All Renault paint as far as I know has a clear coat. So if the finish is faded, its below this clear coat, so nothing can be done other than a respray. The fading is due to UV damage
What a clown shoe.
To the op, if you want to end up with a f**ked engine like this tool, get your mate mechanic to do it for £300
If you want it to run properly, take it to a recommend garage on here ;)
lol at the 4 pots on the back in the PS!
Looks ace that, is it lowered, cant tell? It might just be the handbrake applied on the drive giving it some 'stance yo
I'd have a 182 cup no bother, slightly more focused imo. Seats are the same but with no airbags and fake plastic leather.
Some peeps on here think a regular 182 is some kind of luxury car or something :S
Its all relative. I work for a electronic security company who fit intruder, access cctv and fire. People want the image you put up, but will never pay for it. They see these £200 systems in Maplins then wonder why they cant capture any decent images. Decent image capture costs ££ unfortunately
