low revs. too much revs and the wheels will just spin! less traction in ice/snow, simple as that! flooring it in the ice will not get you grip.

it wasn't jabba that actually did it for me in the end. they didn't have the correct renault tools, so they took it on the trailer to a trusted friend of theirs that has worked on renault sports before and he has all the gear. he did a top job. jabba are great, good friend of theirs. friendly...

well... all sorted now. very happy i must say. this was the problem!!! snapped bolt, which caused the tensioner damper to crack! this also looks broken to me! was £523 for everything im back on the road :)

i think thats a good price. my brother had 16 valves go on his ph1 172 and it cost him £1200. had my cambelt and aux belt changed today for £525

rolling start above 50mph... the meg will kill the clio. standing start... fairly even until 60ish then the meg pulls away comfotably. no supprise really

im running 12mm spacers on the rear and 7mm at the front. will get pics up when i get my car back.

the 197 has a very good stable chassis. the trophy has a great suspension setup. the trophy is faster in a straight line. how would they do on track? i would rather have the 197 tho

great tyres in the dry. pretty poor in the wet, standing water, mud, ice, oil patches ect
