Hi guys and gals
who fancies going to the BTCC on Sunday 2nd of May which is race day?
Gates open at 7am so to try and avoid some of the queues and stuff it would be good if we can leave the meet point by 0845 to get there early'ish :-) so how's about meeting in the layby on the A20 just off...
Looking at the poll Brands seems to be popular :)
The BTCC is on the 1st and 2nd May, as this is a ticket only event these will be needed in advance - you can pay on the day but its more expensive. The details are here...
It depends really on the size of vehicle you intend to tow and the size/weight of the dolly.
As Daniel says your clutch will be the main sufferer tbh, but as long as your kind to it i dont really see much of a problem, Ive towed 2.5 tonne trucks with my old 1.1 Punto with no problems!
Also depends where it has been and will be kept untill fitting.... if its been in a fluctuating temp hot/cold environment then id say just buy a new belt.
Theres bowling in Tunbridge Wells, or for maybe a summer gathering a game of football or something at High Rocks?
My hardest job is trying to find somewhere with enough parking for the cars that doesnt cost a fortune!!!
Nice ideas Col!
I was thinking of Brands for the BTCC in may iirc, what are peoples thoughts on that?
Hastings is great if the sun is out, however at this time of year its k'in cold!! so thats on the summer list..
Keep em comin!
Guys, got some good sugestions coming in however I would ideally like to keep away from ideas that need minimum numbers like karting etc due to people not turning up or not paying deposits. I hope you can see where I'm coming from?
As for the large area problem, it's going to be very hard to...
Hi guys, as the weather looks to be improving I thought Id start asking for some ideas for meets to get the SE Meets back up and running :)
Ideas, dates etc needed so post away!

I think you may be wrong there, they are positioned lower than normal headlights because they light up the road rather than dazzling you (effectively a bit like snow blindness) by using more lights higher up.
EDIT: do you often drive in fog or snow?
