Stick a 1/2 eaten piece of fruit on any old piece of pointless s**t and every sheep will be lining up around the block to get their hands on one.
Will there be a decent support network in place for all the people who will end up getting knifed in the street for their iTime?
Because they sell cars to all sorts of people. Such as those that like to be able to tackle crappy roads and speed bumps without ripping parts from under their car.
And if the car pulls itself apart on the road in a factory setup, there'll be all sorts of warranty claims to tackle. Besides, no...

Same iPhone 5 I've had for the last 2 years. Can't afford to replace all my jeans and trousers with ones with XXL pockets.
So this is just going to promote further laziness?
IF it's got a camera in the front of it, it'll surely be a worldwide hit with need-enthusiasts and celebwankers who simply must selfie to feel like they've done something with their day.
Seeing as it's Apple, no. As that would be naughty.
I'd rather wear a watch than one of these things. Is it right that the top-spec gold one would come out at something like £13k? You could get a properly mint TAG for that, which wouldn't devalue like a modified Clio, doesn't run out of charge...
Pretty sure the brakes are just there for the MOT anyway ;)
Is it as savagely grippy at the front as the reviews always said?
I guess by now (with standards raised by 2 decades) it can't be much better than a decent hot hatch :(
90% of aero mods only provide placebo downforce. But those affected will go ultra-defensive if you even begin to suggest it.
You're more likely to just create a whole load of drag that you are weight. This then makes people slower into corners and further compounds the placebo effect ("it's...
Nothing rots faster than a drop-top Mazda mate ;)
In the world of boosted coupes, 200SX or a Silvia would be boss. :)
Mohair soft top fella, do it. Never needs doing again then. Especially if you're doing the work yourself it's almost silly not to
If P5 rails are a little rich, just find a mk2.5 in a breakers and get all the underbracing from that, as it does exactly the same thing but isn't shiny.
Given it's hidden under the car anyway,
No problem is found.
Perma hard-top? I know it can be, but why? Just buy a 200SX Surely? @JoeyD
You should have a front strut brace and a cabin brace across the rear shelf as standard. (Mk.2 had a stronger rear shelf so they ditched the cabin brace)
Have a look underneath when you can, chassis rails and a brace between them would be perfect :)
There's rear bulkhead under-bracers and...
yeah, if it's for track then may as well go for the lightweight Mk.1
has this one been braced? That'd help make things more comfortable but without having to run on ultra-soft settings
There's plenty of sheddy Mk.1 ones out there, from £300 upwards. Boost kits from ebay at £1500 upwards.
The factory-standard ones are commanding higher prices because they really are becoming rarer by the day, thanks to the kids.
mods worth doing-
strip it out
new brake fluid and decent new pads/discs
decent tyres
driver tuition.
refresh suspension (it'll be getting floppy by now)
Mods not worth doing on a track-day 172 (where the person hasn't got bottomless pockets)
everything else
