From factory it wouldn't have been keyed. Only the Megane ones were keyed, so it has probably been done by the previous owner. Safer having the keyway.

Get a used one from a breaker. They can't be that expensive. Labour will cost the most as the subframe will need dropping to fit.

You can get enamel/epoxy based paint for doing the engine block, but it's expensive. Eastwood Aluma Blast gives a nice aluminium looking paint finish on all the silver parts. https://www.frost.co.uk/eastwood-aluma-blast-paint-340g/

M8 of that spec would be around 25-30Nm usually.

Are the RP pads not full metallic then?

Wasn't aware they did these for Clio calipers now. Heard a few Mégane guys say they're good. Not much help mind, as I've no experience of them. I'm happy with my Winmax W5, there's enough bite in them to lock up in the dry.
