Find a member locally with a 197. Ask them to take you out in theirs. I suspect you'll find no difference.

The book 0-60 requires zero mechanical sympathy. No idea why anyone would bother with their own car! The 197 isn't that quick, light on torque etc. Compare it to another 197, that's the only way to know for sure if it's actually slow.

Good voice control, is much better than a touch screen. Touch screens are great when you're at a standstill, but bloody awful when you're on the move.

I don't like them. Can't see why anyone would pick one over a megane 250/275. That's a genuine rs product, the clio feels like a GT version. Box is the worst dual clutch I've tried, the ten yr old golf gti box is light years ahead. If you like the old rs products, the Meg is the one to go with.

Price seems reasonable to me. Love that it looks standard.

Is mattperformance still knocking about on the owners forum? He did loads on mine, and was involved with the original development of the tte kit (iirc)

I averaged 32 in my 200. And 31 in my modified r26. Having owned both, there's not a single reason to recommend a 200 over an r26.
