Am I right in thinking there were some uber special ones from the factory with a dimma kit and some sort of modified engine? then people started buying the dimma kit to fix onto thier mark one's? bit like the V6 kit these days lol

also...might sound obvious but do not use wonderwheels if you have just driven the car...make sure the wheels are as cold as cold gets otherwise it will just stain the wheels and look even worse lol

Don't use wonderwheels... It's all about Auto Glym Engine and Machine Cleaner. I've never seen my wheels come up so clean. First time i used it was after the parade lap at RWS and my wheels were absolutley covered in cack from that and they came up a treat..
