Company from Monte carlo? Is it any good?

My local engineering company is doing mine on my 172 for £25. I know BenR's will have a lot more work in them and he ports the full thing but for the others who just machine the openings where do they get prices of over £100 from?

Well after selling my mint shell to Daz on 106owners so he can make his XSi 16v Van i needed a new track car. Found this in Wales. 350 miles from me. Brought it home on Sunday. Love it. To top it off it did 47mpg! Going to make it a bit more track orientated after i fix the broken exhaust...

My 172 has a stiff accelerator pedal and every now and again it'll idle at 2500 rpm. I think the cable is sticking. Anyone know how much a new one is?

How fucked can the pistons be before you have to get another bottom end. My track car threw a hissy fit and fucked itself. Pistons are marked but not that badly. Just round scores. Steve
