Well done Pete and Sam was really good to see you! Did you like Donington as a track in the end?
PMSL at the photo I was amazed at how I could just keep my foot planted and it gripped out there lol dirty tyres were interesting for craners though ;)
Can't wait to see everyone's videos of the race
Great write up Andrew! Shame didn't get chance to say hi
I thought it was you in the car that I was racing not Stuart until I realised at the end. Was good fun and I will get the footage up on Tuesday when I get home, I watched it last night and it shows the Cassar incident very clearly.
Well...
ABS no longer exists on the car but instead the brakes are now all plumbed in and sorted :)! I have swapped the stuff over from the old rack to my spare as couldn't get a new one in time so got to hope the spare is okay! Got to fit that back in the morning and also waiting for a new clutch and...
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Haha lol! Why am I not allowed one to hold the CV gaiter on like it is now :dapprove:
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
I fitted those to hold the microphone cable in place but Fred has already had words with me about it so I have learnt from my mistake and will remove them ;) lol

Nice to finally have a handbrake ;) Can do some handbrake turns now yo! Looks awesome
Haha Tony the spy and now sabotaging :slap: lol
I don't know if the knock is anything to worry about Mark but my rack generally has seen better days and while its in bits I would be silly not to sort it. Hope the prep for snett is going well :)
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
It's had a squeaking since Anglesey, it clunks and has play in the wheel :(. It was also dodgy and intermittent ever since the pump exploded so probably a good idea to sort while the engine can be removed :)...

Haha I know Adam spoke with Tony earlier and said I wished they had just let you collect it :(
Haha at least we would of known where it was ;) lol
Thanks Andy! It's racing on Saturday so not long to go :(...
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
No its not is it :(
Certainly am! Haha it should be gone by Friday ;)
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Yeah my local chap has always been great to and always comes at 3.15 on the dot so I don't have to stay in all day like the other couriers lol
Haha thanks for the reminder Mike ;)

Haha thanks for the boost in confidence Kenny... Nice to hear someone who puts my mind at rest :rasp: lol!
That's not good at all though, I always thought UPS were decent but will think again in future...
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Got to love UPS :)
They have delivered the suspension but not sure where to lol!
Great update Andy :) Those cams do look great and will be really interesting to see what it makes!
I need to get a set of the leads as mine are past their best I think
Ahh similar tyre then!
I'm sure someone with more knowledge will come along and help more than I can but out of the box without any tweaking the rates i'm running felt 90% :)
Just checked my setup sheet from Donington and the rear's I ran there are 550IB/in(96n/mm) but have a set of 500's incase but in all honesty the back felt very planted so was thinking to get a set of 600's just incase I can't dial out the understeer.
Yes this is what I was thinking but wasn't sure of the ratio on the back :)
What tyres were you running/ are you going to be running. Mine are based on 888's/DZ03's
I do run spacers at the moment although i'm afraid I put them on at the same time as different type of tyre, different tyre size...
Sorry mate it will be late Tuesday at the earliest before I'm at Fred's mate and it now sounds like I have got to nip down to France so maybe not till Thursday :( Can you drop me a text with the full address as I just have the golf club address.
Ah okay well do you know about the motion ratio's for where the springs are mounted on the rears compared to running rear coilovers?
I think I am running 110nm front and 90/95nm rears hardly driven it but provided a massive reduction in lap time compared to my previous setup.
Sadly no one...
Tony you failed to mention the chrome wheels
Collinite 476 would be a good bet! Not sure about Halfords but I have got a pot that I never use so your welcome to it :) I can chuck it in the post tomorrow if you want
I have also searched for the waterproof RS232 but all I could find was one in america at $700 so I think the heat shrink will be best lol!
Done... I think I will deliver it this week i'm more reliable than a courier ;)
