I have had my 172 a few weeks now, i have had the belts done with fred and didnt really want to mention my car on hear until after that so as not to tempt fate with the belts!!
Well good thing i didnt really cos once the belts were off fred showed me how badly worn the old one was and said that...
what camera setting do you need for this i have a canon d500 and giving a long exposure means i end up with a white pictures, so what settings should i use then.
Oh and the pics dont look half bad considering u had no tripod
well i didnt think mine would need doing, im only on 46k, but when i got to freds he was like that is starting to go cos it was ticking a bit (i think that was what he said), so i would definetly reccommend it being done will save u money in the long run
well i would be happy with saturday as i can make a slight detour from my trip to bala, and i may have a look at the evo triangle whilst over there too! would be epic if we turned it into a evo run but i dont want to turn the meet into something its not!
a girl at work has a clio that colour with silver turinis, i would look for them as they look really good with that colour on a non-sport, car almost looks like a cup to the untrained eye
there is a list somewhere of the stuff u need with renault part numbers, but u will need a 52 onwards car, new clutch and brake pedal sensors or pedals?, the dash switch, and a few other things i think, have a search around has definatly been covered a few times before
car looks good, looks like it might have previously owned by a member considering the cs sticker and ph2 rear lights, only thing i can say is find out when the cambelt was done
just go to renault and buy one from the laguna i think, all you have to do is swap the tops cos it is cheaper that way, to get the button off u need to take the radio out then pull the panel above it off then take the pug off of the back of the switch should be self explanatory really
^exactly, alot of people think that a 1.2 would be light on fuel and a 2.0l to be heavy on it but for me it is the other way around, people dont seem to realise that you need the right sized engine rather than the smallest you can buy to get the best mpg
i guess u have to work your engine alot harder than i have to to achieve the same speeds, remember the topgear test of a prius vs an m3 on a track and the prius ran out of fuel first
just buy cheap coilovers, i had rokkors on my old 1.2 they were a bit bumpy but the adjustability makes them so much better and they only cost me £160 brand new
right i have taken it all to peices and put it back together, i reckon it is the pump but i think swapped the screen and headlight washers by accident so now at least my screen ones work but the drivers side headlight washer is a bit rubbish but it could just be air in the pipes
As above, my washer jets take a couple of seconds before the screenwash comes out, i can hear the pump going as soon as i pull the stalk though, my old 1.2 was instant is this normal for sports though, i am driving a ph2 172.
