Laws on road legal track car

Look at a longacre rear view mirror, it's perfect for winged seats. I'm just tall enough to peer over the winged bits, so I can see blind spots...

172 Non cup ABS removal - who has done it

Yeah I've had a bit of a pain with it all, but it's sorted now. Coupled with a s**t bias valve, dodgy compensator valve and me being used to braking with abs - and not having to use to your foot as abs. Other than that it's sorted I believe. I've got no warning lights from my conversion, I'm...

    sburrell's ph1 172 track project (maybe)

I think that the general consensus with the BCs and the coilovers you spec'd is that people complain that they can't get high enough spring rates for them (but haven't looked much into it tbh) The rear coilover unit work on a 2:1 motion ratio - I'm confusing myself a little bit in my head...

    sburrell's ph1 172 track project (maybe)

Gaz GHAs can run springs up to F:500R650. Which is very good for a £500 coilover. It's really hard to judge spring rates unfortunately as it's preference, in general I think clios respond well to a stiffer rear end, but that's down to me preferring a sharper turn in and having to deal with a...

What made you go for b14s mate?!

    sburrell's ph1 172 track project (maybe)

I agree with this! Spring rates, alignment and sort out roll centre is where money should be spent. Although saying that I can't talk, I conformed and bought a set of ASTs... [emoji48]

    Track phase 182

Took the misses out for spin today, it followed with "can I drive it" ... "Sorry love seating position is bolted in, can't change it" Just love being in it, went out on the direzzas and the car felt so much stable, you can definitely feel the sidewall flex on the toyos (some ditchfinders)...

I don't know I don't have my go pro anymore to check! will have to get a mate alongside me... It feels like both wheels are locking. well had a cheap alignment done 0.50 and 3.30 is toe on the rear... The axle is not straight...

Im not no, i think the cylinder size was wrong, which i completely underestimated... when i came to bleed the brakes the handbrake would be solid, and the rear brakes would not retract... So its still in the car but not plumbed in, as I'm to lazy to remove haha. Angle grinder accuracy, its not...

Just a heads up I can supply GAZ golds direct from gaz for £750 inc custom spring rates and delivery :)

    Track phase 182

Right, so still none the wiser with what's going on with the rear bias... The car is pulling 14kg on the rear on MOT rollers... so the braking effort is reduced enough, for me to move the rear wheels with my hands when someone is stamping on the brakes. It's not the handbrake cables snagging...

    Brembo conversion bracket help

Any Engineering type shop should have the machines to be able to do it, just make sure you get across to them what you actually want and they understand.

Yeah you can't really do anything safely on uneven pavement/gravel, Should of got marine ply though! as the ply won't last exposed to the weather all day.
