Looks like a mash up of a Mazda Demio and a Trophy....with a scrotum hanging at the back :o
Not really my cuppa but it's not bad. What's it like? Any good to drive?
Bloody hard to find! I think they're on the front near where the spokes meet the lip but it's not very clear at all. Can vaguely guess it on mine as I knew what offset they were but on my mate's 18" 1.2s we couldn't tell for sure. Had to put them on the car to make sure they fit.
Wow, some responsibilities there. Sounds like some clever stuff too! What a game to apply your skills too.
Any shout on the PS3/360? Is it being designed for one and adapted to the other? Or will they be 100% equal in detail, design and contents so you wouldn't know which one you were playing...
What exactly do you do for this project Lee? Does your role change as the game development changes or are you given set things to do? Either way, sound like you're having fun doing it!
Also, would you reckon this would be better for PS3 or 360?
I'm loving the amount to detail going into the game, especially with the track surface, marbles, dust and grip as well as the weather technology. Sounds like the Grand Prix 5 I used to dream about.
Good to know it'll be as up to date as possible too.
Same as Rob said for me.
Mine came with the correct attachement for the brake light as well.
For the washer hose, mine was too short also but it doesn't work anyway so I didn't bother sorting it out.
I'm not sure on et43 but I think read somewhere on here that 182 cup suspension gets its wider track by wider hubs/wider spaced hubs or something to that effect so et38 may be too much to fit under the arches. So may be worth checking that also if et43 isn't enough clearance.
I know et38 fits...
Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)
I did similar to Ben, contract was up last Jan but I wanted to wait for the 3GS, so went with a sim only cheque-back contract, works out under £12/month and just bought the 3GS on PAYG. Big cost but sometimes it's nice to have the majority of the cost out of...
Yup, Sky HD can only do 5.1 from optical, HDMI will only do stereo for Sky. Your TV most likely will only output stereo via optical, so even for PS3 your surround sound will have to use pro logic etc to output surround through your speakers. Good, but not as good as the original 5.1 from PS3...
Pics look amazing, can't wait for September.
Lee, are all the cars done now or are they being updated when the teams update, like the new Mercedes made big changes etc? Just wondering if they cause issues with designers or left as they were at the start of the season?
Don't think they're too much but not too sure as mine already had them.
I'm not sure if all Renaults are the same, you'll notice on yours if they're too loose.
I run et38, same as 172 cups, on my 172, which is lowered on coilies. Sit beautifully in the arch and don't rub.
Although, IIRC the 182 cups/cupped pack (don't know if yours is either) have wider track via the difference in hubs so may need to check that first before going to a smaller offset.
You'll probably see a bit, but will drop more once they're settled. Fronts will drop on their own with the engine weight etc, backs might need some heavy mates or objects in the back to help it drop more from stuff I've read before. Spacers depend on your own wheels, don't know what they are so...
Done much miles on them? Seem to remember mine needing a while to get past the slippery surface.
IIRC, they were always a bit twitchy though, more so than PE2s, but I was running 195/45/16 all round now I run 205 on the rear to give the back end a bit more stability.
