I have these that im 80% were from The recaro Trendlines that I bought from a guy that was putting them in his V6
although I cant 100% remember
Anyone know how to tell the difference- would megane R26 Recaro ones still fit a normal Clio 172???

Front ender-
Front bumper respray with black inserts missing-
Black plastic slam panel is new- missing all the stickers- which is a replacement-
= CRASH

Put the heating on 2 or 3 bars
then turn the air con on-
if you hear a clink from the engine thats the compressor working- means air con is gassed-
no clink = no gas
Try & check whether the aux belt kit was changed with the cambelt

They run on normal unleaded but the 'preferred' choice is super!
Other choice of car is White 08/58 plate FF -( only made on 57 onwards ) - these are nice... again 8k ish with full spec like R27

IIRC a tank is 55L so on a £1.40 Optimax petrol thats ~£75 qssuming you havent drained the tank dry!
If you can squeeze 30 MPG on Soft motorway use then 55L is 12 Gallons - so on that basis 360 miles ( or 300 miles on 25 MPG)
Its easy to drive daily- just a bit rough on cold start-...
I would save your money & get a tidy Phase 2-
The Phase 1 V6 is a little underwhelming & will always be in the shadow of the PH2-
Ph1 owners will say different- however theres really no contest- PH2 wins hands down
Parts are expensive- Disks, tyres, etc-
Make sure cambelt has been changed...
your right I dont to sell it-- Which is why I probably over inflated the price a tad!-
Some cars arent about profit- If you enjoy cars & their worth as a hobby for driving then loosing a bit of money doesnt matter
Its got a long list of parts that if I returned it standard & sold it for 3k...

buy a showroom condition 172 for 3800 or spend 2500 on a dog and spend 2k getting it mint-most of the people buying 172's now are stretching themselves cost & insurance wise just to get a PH1-
Some one will buy it for what it is-
Im not fussed on selling it as ive been asked...
with red ideally you cant just paint the bumper you need to blend it into the bonnet & wings...
