no 1 the cv boot is easy just put a cable tie(zip tie) round it to rescure it.
never had a coil spring no seated correctlly normaly they are broken is it standered springs fitted?

my plans would be fit some arp rod bolts 7750rpm limit cams verniers head work throttle boddies mbe managment 4-2-1 manifold no cat and 2 1/4 exhaust system.
to start with then would build a strong bottom end pocket pistions solid valve train...

35 an hour labour is cheap mos are 40h or more 3.5 hours is not bad to replace discs pads strip down the shock and rebuild the make up 2 new brake pipes the blead the brake system. thats not a bad price from a garage.
if i could get the right one i would have it. if my box in my clio was not changed befor for the wrong one then id have that one recond.

would it be possible to use parts from the 1.8 16v moter in the laguna as it looks identical.
would the cams be diffrent ?

would the top 1/2 of a 172 inlet manifold fit with trottle bodie bigger...
if it dose have a speedo in and mine dont ill just modify an old speedo to blank it off.
at the moment im running a jb3 not sure what one but its not the rsi one and the gear ratios feel crap and has just died so hopefuly its will be better geared.
will all mounts drive shafts clutch ect line up?
