    Scraping when turning steering

I’d get that up in the air and get someone to rotate the wheel each way whilst you look for the source on the underside mate.

    Newbie looking to track

Can be a slippery slope. There’s loads you can do. I’d make the car reliable / sounds firstly. Servicing Consumables/perishables etc Go from there.

    ‘Bonnie Blue’ The RB 182

Some great news. The doner box I sourced from a member on here has been opened up and inspected by another member on here ( incestuous ) and is in great low mileage condition. I’m refreshing some bits just because it makes sense, but it’s great to know I didn’t buy a lemon. Will post some pics...

    182 eating a LOT of oil :(

Thankfully I know plenty of engine builders. May be easier to just throw it at ED. I am capable of building a motor. But certain elements I would have to outsource anyway and I just don't have the time.

    182 eating a LOT of oil :(

I'm planning sourcing a spare to rebuild and mine doesn't even need it yet :ROFLMAO: Just nice to know I've got Gucci freshy on a stand in the garage ready to slot in when the day does come. But I'm weird.

    182 eating a LOT of oil :(

I’ll be picking up a spare motor over the winter to slowly build up for mine. Nothing too crazy. Built for dependability and zero’d. Why am I like this.

    182 eating a LOT of oil :(

Needs looking at properly to confirm the issue pal. If I was breaking cases, the absolute minimum id do would be: Rings Hone Gaskets Valves and stems Shells and bearings Belts Water pump etc Bolts Oil pump Sky’s the limit though. The above would likely be £900-£1200 ish in parts by my...

    ‘Bonnie Blue’ The RB 182

Had a spare half hour so started building up the subframe now. Arms are in. Balls joints are in. Arb is in with its accompanying bushes etc. Only finger tight atm. Didn’t have any aggro at all with the arb, contrary to what I’d read previously. It was a doddle compared to the arm bushes which...

Hi, A good detailer can probably sort much of this out on the visuals side. If it's damp inside, I'd be inclined to get a dehumidifier running in it. It'll defo want a good service if it's been sat. And likely the belts..
