BC Racing Coilovers & My Trophy

No they're Oz Chronos that I had my Dad powder coat for me, very similar to Comp MO's though. The offset is 35, sit just right for my liking. Only one I have is of the fronts from instagram so it's not great...

BC Racing Coilovers & My Trophy

I'm comparing them to when the Sachs were working fully, when I got the car they were rock hard and performed incredibly well. The difference between that and when they failed is night and day!

BC Racing Coilovers & My Trophy

It's just a case of dropping the beam down and chucking the spacer under the spring, you can add 10mm at a time I think.

BC Racing Coilovers & My Trophy

I didn't take any pictures when I fitted them unfortunately but the fronts can go plenty lower and the rears are adjusted with shims, I initially installed the rear springs with any spacers and it sat with the arch over the tyre. Like I said I had them on my Civic for over 2 years and never...

BC Racing Coilovers & My Trophy

When one of my Sachs failed recently I was in a real dilemma over what to do. To have them refurbished is the best part of £500 just for the front two shocks and there’s no real warranty on the repair. Combine that with the horror stories of people having them refurbished just for them to either...

    New wheels for the Trophy

I did come across a thread of yours on the Team Dynamics when I was looking for inspirational pictures of Trophys on sportlines and 15's! The wheels on mine are dead similar but they're actually OZ Chrono's. Really need to sort some centre caps for them. For looks yes 16's are better but I've...

    New wheels for the Trophy

Excellent choice Sir! It's on Sportlines at the moment but one of the Sachs is on it's way out some I'm currently toying with the idea of coilovers.

    New wheels for the Trophy

They're 15's et37. I think because the spoke doesn't join the very edge of the wheel it makes them look smaller.

    Clio Trophy Update

Yeah it's all original paint as far as I'm aware just the way the photo's were shot and the post processing that makes it look slightly off.

My New Trophy #205 - Detailed

Cheers guys, as for the use of fast cut plus the paint had some extrememly heavy swirling which needed correction as well as quite badly oxydized paint which needed reviving.

My New Trophy #205 - Detailed

Yeah thats my fault totally forgot to set the white balance on the camera but it definitely didn't look like it does now. I've recently fitted the Skoda splitter as a cheap temporary solution, I've also popped a Connects2 Ipod lead in. Next up is a set of xenons as its a simple and cheap...

My New Trophy #205 - Detailed

Heres the write up of the detailing session my good friend Olly (Snow Shine) carried out for me. After having him work on my EK9 before and seeing the results along with his various other clients I knew the car was in safe hands. I really can't recommend him enough and if you're on the South...

Its number 205, my friend has a Skoda splitter on his 172 but I don't think they sit quite as well as the OEM option.

New member and his new car (Trophy content)

After being a long time lurker (used to use a good friends log in) I thought I better create my own account seeing as I've finally bought myself a Clio. Anyway I've had a few alright cars in the past but I must say I'm really enjoying the Trophy so far. I was originally looking for a FF 182...
