As said before, check the brake light switch (just above the brake pedal), push the brake down, and then twist the switch so it come out of its groove where its held in place and then disconnect it.. you should b able to adjust the end... you will hear it click if you push or pull it (you have...
I believe you have to a code reader (rstuner or something like that) to cancel the dashboard lights, I could be wrong, there might be another way but I don't know of ahy other ways :)
its okay, didnt want you to automatically think its somehting to do with the ABS and spend alot of money trying...
2. Do your brake lights come on late, or do you have to really press the brake pedal for them to come? If might be that you need to adjust the brake light switch which is just above the break pedal linkage arm. The service light and abs kept coming on me, I just replaced it and not had the...
Would adding a heat shield make any difference.
would it stop any heat soak from the engine bay, or would it simply block the cooler air when travelling along?
Depends on the use... I have only uad a 182 as it is my daily and I like all the gadgets you get with it... however if I was going for more of a track day car, I would go for a 172... less gadgets... I believe the 172s dont have esp (ABS), whereas the 182s do have them but you can switch them...
So far im loving it too... sounds really nice and throaty... it doesnt sound too loud when im sat inside, but when you are outside it is quite loud haha :)
Well back again with a few updates
- Firstly my rear windscreen washer would not work. (The water was coming through the front washers when twisting the rear windscreen washer arm on the steering column). After using the "Search" function on here, I wasn't alone and got myself a new pump...
I think it looks good in photos, maybe it will also look alot better in person too... I have always liked the 197/200 rear view and I do think it suits it. As someone said above, if its done properly it will look good
Took it for a test drive, couldnt use the power all the time, but managed to give it some beans and it sounds good, not noticed any loss of power, but then again, I havent been able to properly use the power. Sounds good especially when you get it to about 3k/ 4k revs and its got a throatier...
I agree they do look a bit nicer, but it depends what you are going for, if you want something that sounds and seems as good as ktec then its a good alternative and cheaper, but if you want it for looks as well, then it might be worth investing the extra  saying that, the fattys one still...
Someone mentioned something about ktec induction kit... or if you want something the same but cheaper, then have a search for "thefattys induction kit" seems to be popular at the minute
EDIT: shocking spelling
Traveling on the motorway at 40mph once, (speed restrcitions), I decided to reset my mpg trip... It said at one stage (70mpg) and then came crawling back down to about 42mpg... my 182 was as fuel efficient as a prius ;) haha I doubt I was doing 70mpg, but did make me chuckle when I saw it...
Good to hear, I ordered mine the other day and then people have said they have been selling them as its not for them and made me think have I made a mistake ordering it.gives me a little more confidence now... the filter has arrived today, just got to wait for the pipe now
Yeah alot of people they look tacky, but I like them :) also just a suggestion, you can get a rear spoiler that is colour coded the same as your car as well as colour coded mirrors :) yeah you can get them for about £100 now I think. I suppose its just doing things a step at a time :) good luck...
Welcome along  some people dont like them, but I I agree with wind deflectors and tints look smart on a black car. Just my opinion, and I would say some 182 alloys wheels would look good
Edit: I only saw the 1st pic of your wheels haha, they look good
Yeah I had a similar problem but it was my windscreen washer pump that failed... yeah thqts the guide and yeah people have trimmed it down, however, you have to be careful doing it and from what others have said its less hassle to get a new one.. but before you buy the pump, check which pump it...
Welcome along, if you want I have some 182 wheels for sale in silver colour.. but I understand if you are after some turinis... anyway welcome along and enjoy your motor ;)
