Anyone who's got John's number want to remind him about tonight incase he doesn't see this thread? Him and his mates need to save the day again I think.

Wonder if its worth sending everyone interested on the 1st few pages a PM?
My stainless steel KTEC sits a bit like that, I've sorted the rear out with a lot of string and it's not very noticeable last time I looked, but the centre does sit low, a lot of time had been spent trying to adjust it but it does scrape on the occasional speed bump or where elevations become...
That's amazing! That is some work! Make sure you have your camera out when it gets picked up!
Out of interest, how much do you charge for a job like that?
If you're doing just the dash strips, then it looks great, like Paul's or fUbAr's.
Doing other bits only works with the OE silver/aluminum style look or carbon fibre finish IMO.
Think the cup offset looks better personally, can't see how it looks odd at all. I think standard 172 or 182 alloys look too under the arch, cup turinis are perfect offset.
Looks amazing in the metal.
Rarest colour 1*2, so I suppose it should demand a premium over others, don't know how much extra though. Suppose it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Looks beautiful mate. Nice pics too.
I love that colour on the M3, the only colour to have IMO. It's not too noticeable from a distance but can see all the lines clearly, and up close it's....awesome....don't know how to describe it lol
I've not found anywhere to get a 15" inch space saver for the 172.
I had a normal 16" 172 alloy in my wheel well and although it fitted width ways fine, it wasn't quite deep enough for the boot to sit completely flat, not a lot in it but used to irritate me lol
I've only had F1s and PE2s, F1s are good but PE2s are better, especially in the wet.
When I first got my car, I had F1s fitted all round, fronts only lasted 6000 miles but I'd put that a bit down to new car fun, rears did 6000 on the back and nearly 6000 on the front running them down to the...
Mine's randomly started to do it too.
I think there was a similar thread the other day, and someone said if you take the arch liner out and have small hands and arms, you can disconnect the washer from the water line, undo a bolt and take it out without taking the bumper off.
lol I'm too slow.
Good to hear you like it. Nice pics. It's definitely on my list of things to get at some point.
For the ones taken in the dark, were you holding the camera or was it on a tripod? Part of my reason for wanting this lense is to use indoor during family/friends gatherings and not always using...
I don't have any twitchiness unless under very very heavy braking or if I lift off mid corner obviously. Feels great to me and the best its been since I've had it.
I think it's all a bit of personal preference IMO.
For some reason, I prefer 195 on the front and 205 on the back. I think this isn't advisable on a FWD, but its how I prefer them. I had:
195s Eagle F1s all round - felt good grip generally in all corners/bends
205 PE2 front, 195 F1s...
No real need to specifically get a 1080p full HD unless you'll be running HD sources like xbox/PS3/PC/Blu-ray etc.
If it's just for freeview and sky, then an "HD ready" one will be fine. Samsung's latest offerings seem to be very good, great reviews across a lot of their range. Just have a...
I'd second Robbos on this. Used to have one at my old place and you wouldn't think it looking at it, but it worked great. Got every channel with no breaking of sound or picture.
Defo get down to Argos or Maplins and try one out, and as said, worst case it doesn't work well in your area, take...
Just plug everything into the TV and the then plug TV audio out RCA to one of the inputs on the surround sound. Most you'll get is Dolby Pro Logic or Pro Logic II. It'll be surround sound but not as good as using proper channeled 5.1.
