POV: The French hot hatch… that was purchased as a cheap winter project for a bit of fun…. Which will have cost me £10,269.62 by the end of the month 😂
I’m not a fan of the petrol ones either tbh.
I guess you could say they look sort of cool. But the range was crap. And they have an external speaker which is supposed to sound like an engine, but it’s f**king awful! And drones away in a monotone way like an old need for speed game
I’m not sure what the worst car I drove in 2023 was.
I doubt it was the worst.. but the one that comes to mind is the Alfa Romeo Tonale Hybrid for its horrendous gearbox.
And one of those electric Abarths. f**king horrendous.
Or anything from Tesla. As they handle like I built it. And the...
Watch out as well as some make suspension look like Sachs when it isn't...
Tbh the sachs isn't that amazing compared to what the aftermarket can provide, but as mentioned 'originality' etc.
Unsure yet. Seen mixed reviews with regard to covers?
It’s not like the car will generally see bad weather and I imagine the shocks will be out half regularly anyway
Just an update on this. Seats should be going in next week as previously mentioned.
The side mounts supplied with the seat weigh a tonne, which is a shame because the seat is feather weight. I am running some cobra side mounts instead as they are literally half the weight of the Corbeau ones
6/8 with spare (stiffer) springs for the time being
Will be installing roll centre correction kit as well. I am lucky in that my brother in law is one of the best suspension set up outfits in the country. So fairly easy for me to change anything
