Did you wiggle the crank sensor wires? I did with mine and it’s fine now. Ordered the crank sensor and loom though so I’ve got it.

Clios died again and this time it won’t start at all. It always chooses to die away from the house too which is helpful. Was coughing and spluttering when I drove it, back firing and jerking so ordered some new plugs and second hand leads and coil pack. Went to drive home and it wouldn’t start...

Try putting the ignition on and then holding down the interior lock button thing for 5 seconds until you hear a double beep.

Starting issue seems to have resolved itself on the cup which is a bonus. No new updates. Just constantly filthy!

Do ph1 have the same immobiliser as the ph2? Have this issue on my cup sometimes. I just hold the interior door lock button down for 5 seconds and it resets and starts.

I paid £1200 for this in 2010 with the belts done 6 months earlier. Clio prices are so up and down!
