when you look at the month on month depreciation of say a 197 then im surprised anyone buys a new car-
you are looking at between £100 & £150 a month loss- so £~30 a week ( & nearer £200/£250 a month on a brand new car)
over 2 years thats a lot to loose....

I would advise buying a 197- ( a standard one that is) your in no mans land & going to end up with an average early facelift model & not really going to get the benefit of the revised model-
If you have a budget of 6-7k then I would say do one of the following-

10k- No chance.
9.5k- minimal chance
9250- small chance-
<9k - is where its at-

well the first thing- he took it to one of the best places to get the belts done-
Id say Private 2.5k is a fair price for mileage being slightly high- ( or rather mileage being average which equates to being quite high)

& yes It was me in crook log - I always park on the corner raised bit- So if theres ever a Clio on that raised bit by the hedge its me-
