The "South East" convoy will start in Essex or in Herts, but we could easily build in a stop at Towcester or nearby for anyone who would like to join there.
I organise a lot of meets but they must have a driving component - I prefer to drive cars than look at them :)
Happy to look at a C+M meet with a convoy drive beforehand, but might be tricky if we're all based in different places.
Go for a mid-range tyre such as Toyo TR1 (£46.95 from Camskill) or Uniroyal Rainsport 5 (£49.65 from Camskill).
For £5-10 more per corner you'll get a considerably superior tyre to any of the ones you've listed.
I was really surprised how much attention the Impreza drew - and to be invited to park on the hill. Particularly as the bodywork on my example is far from mint and it was was fairly grubby having just arrived from a 110-mile driveout.
Awesome! I wasn't in a Clio but in the black Impreza parked on the hill. Your 182 is unbelievably clean. The paintwork looked just phenomenal in the sunshine.
No matter how good the paint job or how desirable the colour, many people will not be interested in buying a car sprayed in a different colour to the original.
Interesting - thank you.
No idea who did the work as it was two owners ago in 2018. I have the receipt for the cams but not the mapping. It's definitely been mapped though, uses no oil and as mentioned AW have given it a clean bill of health. Alex says the engine note is not unusual. I just...
Thanks - the car has been given a clean bill of health by AW Motorworks and seems to be in fine fettle. I know I'm asking a lot of an old Renault to have a charismatic engine note on top of its superb chassis.
A year and bit in and I've pretty much got my 182 exactly where I want it to be. One thing remains though which may not be so easy to sort. Above 5k rpms the engine note is really quite rough and doesn't encourage you to rev higher, which of course defeats the point in this car. The revs come...
Congrats on the purchase!
This isn’t a Pagani Zonda, it’s a cheap mass-produced hatchback built to a cost. Mainstream manufacturers inevitably make compromises for savings, production efficiency and to ensure their cars appeal to as many people as possible. Modifications allow you to...
I am running 15x7 Ultraleggeras with 195/50/15 without any rubbing. My ride height measured from ground to arch is 61 cm rear / 60 cm front however I have run considerably lower also without issues.
When I acquired the car it had 10mm spacers which I quickly took off as they didn’t do the...
The limitation of Google Maps when using turn-by-turn directions is you have to manually mark waypoints as visited.
Not used it myself but heard good things about Scenic - iOS only though.
