Should fit as far as I know, only part that won't is the skirts, wings and bumpers should be interchangeable.

I really wouldn't... You won't get any love from the majority on here for bodykits. My suggestion if you want to change bodywork is buy some 172 front wings, front and rear bumpers and front grills.

Did you try earthing the battery to body as suggested before ordering a new earth? At least you will know that the new strap should fix the issue if it works.
