You can still buy the bases but you're looking at nearly £300 :( Repair is the cheaper way but just make sure you use the right material. Try contacting Steve Murr @R-Sport as I know he used to do great repairs.

Does sound like a boost pipe split or come off.

They will fit as all dimensions are correct.

Looks nice but please bare in mind the cambelt does still need doing - yes it has been done on 50k but that would be 2012 so needs doing. Mot history looks ok - had a bit of a failure list but nothing major and all done.

@Willliams Lunar is a gorgeous car and one of the best condition Vee's I have come across - the mileage on this car defies its epic condition. Worth £50k and not a penny less. Good luck with the sale Shaun mate.

The three plastic legs that are sunk into the wheel do come out. You have to get a screwdriver down the side and around the legs and open the flexi rubber base and work the legs out until they eventually pop out. @ashtons99
