I agree entirely mate. But this is what we are presented with on uk roads. And making people more nervous about their speed means it's even more likely.

driving slower does not mean better though. This is the problem, the road safety brigade are very quick to say that speed kills and all accidents involve speed. I'm sure someone like the rac did a study on it years ago and worked out that less than 15% of incidents had speed as the cause.

i disagree as well It's f**king impossible on my motorbike. Slight bump and you gain 10mph from a minuscule wrist movement that you can't even feel! Even my van it's easy to not notice 5 or so mph. Which is often enough to get done.
