(Anyone ahead is in a higher class and on coilovers and more power)
But it will raise the car. You also said you wanted the height the same.
I do agree with massivewangers but......
A better option maybe Sportlines as they will be in between the Apex and Prolines and behave pretty much the same as the Prolines.
Had a cracking weekend finishing 2nd in class, behind @Sonic Boom who managed a PB so a great result for us both. A great inexpensive way into competitive motorsport. It may sound expensive for actual race time but if you include watching others all day, then it isn't too bad at all.
If you like the ride height and can live with the ride on the road, I would just try new Cup shocks at first. Apex get a bad reputation but I had them on the back of mine and @bob the builder has them all round and we have both raced in Tricolore Production Class.
However if you want it setup...
Black car is away for lots of surgery to hopefully make her competitive in the new Championship. Avo coilovers and PMS goodies to go on among other things.
I've also had my entries for hillclimbs at Prescott on 23/24th April and Shelsley Walsh the weekend after confirmed, so looking forward...
No it's pretty nice area actually, not far from The Belfry. It's the A38 so dual carriageway which is often used for "top speed test" and a big island with country lanes off. Oh and a Maccys which is probably the problem.
Was going to suggest Tricolore Production Plus like above. Standard engine but pretty free on everything else. Seems like you have done some weightsaving, so I think CTCRC Pre 05 is out, as you have to have original panels and glass. MSV trackday trophy maybe another option.
Listen to harvsurrey. You can learn to drive a car with your setup pretty quickly but it does take seat time, trial and error and as said TUITION. I'm getting more tuition now, as I feel I've reached a plateau and want a fresh pair of eyes, to gain a few more tenths here and there. (I race too)...
@George@RTR_Parts is best to talk to. Standard discs and pads on rear are fine. Ate typ200 brake fluid and Brembo HC discs at front. Front pads are all down to how aggressive you are and how long you stay on track each session. Some people can get away with DS2500s, then you have others go for...
You can do production class which is essentially strip it, fit roll cage, seat, harness, fire ext, killswitch and go. Standard car to keep cost to a minimum. No coilovers but springs, shocks, exhaust and air filter are free. Then there are a further two higher classes depending on budget or...
