Hans devices will be needed in most forms of motorsport next year apart from things like roadgoing hillclimb class where you keep original interior. So circuit racing even at club level will require them. Like me, you don't need a tow car and trailer when you drive the racecar to the circuit...

Save even more....don't need a tent. It really isn't THAT expensive once your car is done. As Tony said just do one or two local events (with us in Tricolore) next year.

Cadwell's is quite a bit more demanding than most tracks. You really need to go to the top end of the price range in pads.

Correct and be careful with interpretting the rules. In some cases, just because it doesn't say you can't, doesn't mean you can. Also whilst most things will stay the same, there is a new set of regs currently being finalised so check things with @Tony Hunter before doing anything drastic.

Airbags can go no problem. As it is clearly a proper racecar and not a toy one, the MOT tester can take a lot more into consideration. Mine has all airbags and seat belts removed, non airbag steering wheel, cage, harness and race seat. You will have to make sure all lights work as they should...

Reshell into a Cup

Did you explain what type of racing you are doing? They probably are on about the crossweight but if circuit racing, then you should go for equal split and adjust if necessary from there. Unequal setups are more towards oval racing generally.

You can't use them in most races in the UK. Unless a driver change is mandatory.

Me too mate but Oulton and Snett combined is about a third of the cost to do what I want to do.

I won't be spending silly Andrew, just basic Class A at first. Looking at just cams, suspension and weight saving. No bodies or HC etc.
