What a legend the bloke who is helping you out sounds! As for Renparts hopefully others read this and don’t have to go through what you’ve been through as they really don’t deserve the trade.
@chris blue I won’t be coming down to this now mate! The mrs has booked something up on the same weekend! Have a good one tho and hopefully catch up with you later on in the year
A couple of my friends lupo gti I sorted out for him a couple of years back. This was only finished in dodo juice blue velvet so with more work and better products I’d say yes real!
Yea I definitely want something that I can aply wax over! I don’t mind how long it lasts as I enjoy playing around with it whenever I can. Has anyone used Chemical guys black light glaze or chemical guys wet mirror finish?
Like you said tho so much better to find out that way! I couldn’t imagine nothing worse, of out for a drive and finding out the hard way would be ultra s**t!
Looking at my filler cap tonight and there are a couple off bubbles coming but mainly behind the cap cover. How did you take yours off @MarcB and what size bolts did you put it back on with? Cheers
I picked both of these up at trax’s this year and have only just used them. It’s the first time iv treated the leather on my standard 182 seats so not much to go by but it’s so easy to use and have brought them up lovely! Followed up with auto finesse hide the leather seems so much more supple...
Cheers @Dr Jekyll . I’m Looking at getting some different sealant to try, I’ve read good things about Chemical Guys black light glaze just trying to find a nice wax to go with it. Has anyone tried it?
Cheers mate it was only a very quick wash! No time to wax it as I was cooking for mother’s day! Hopefully I will get some more time in the next couple of weeks to go to town on it! Soon as I finished it started raining... standard!
Had a bit of spare time today so managed to give the car a bath! Nothing special but after driving it 96 miles last weekend (that’s a lot for my Clio!) it was nice to see it clean again!
