The breather pipe doesn’t seem to have much oil in it! I don’t know what it should normally look like!

Yes that was the part concerning me, I’ve cleaned it all out and it doesn’t look like it’s coming from the rocker cover. Belts only got done last year. Only thing I thought was have i spilt any oil when filling it up but can’t remember spilling any and it’s not clean!

I’ve had a couple of people say that I’ve just never noticed it before so worried me a bit! Will just keep an eye on it then! Nice one mate

just spray it on rub it in and wash off?

So playing around with the Clio and I found this. Is there any Obvious places this could be coming from? I have noticed I had been using a little oil not a worrying amount tho. I’ve cleaned it all up now and going to have a better look tomorrow just wondering if I’m missing something ?

I always get everything off in the week put it all back together and do the jobs on a Saturday/Sunday as I know something will go wrong so I don’t waste weekends chasing problems!

It can only get better! Don’t let it get to you it’s paper and metal at the end of the day life could be a lot worse! What’s done is done just enjoy it when it gets sorted!

A after writing this I’ve found out I can only make that weekend, so if everyone is ok with that hopefully it will be that weekend!

Looks like you’ve done a really smart job! I need to tackle mine soon as it’s showing the starting signs of rust! I believe there should be two rubbers to make the cap sit flush but i might be wrong! Mine are missing them too!

At least things are going forward mate! Hopefully this is ready to come out to play this summer!
