Are you sure the banging isn’t the rear part of the exhaust hitting the rear subframe. What condition are your exhaust hangers.

Hi.. Did you get your AST’s re-valved due to the increased spring rates ?

I’ve had a couple of ktec exhaust and much prefer the pure motorsport exhaust. Nick even gives DB reading on his web site for each exhaust configuration.

It happened a few years ago and has been repaired though insurance! #becausetrophysarethebestclios

Put a diff in will make the most difference to these out of any other mod out there.

Sorry didn’t see you’ve tried 10mm with et35...making et25. Pretty sure that’s why everyone runs TD 1.2 as the spokes are bowed out.

@Hyperhatch, I just run 15mm spacers on both wheels but the 2118 have so much more room round the caliper than the ultras. Think the ultraleggera’s are a conical wheel (wheel gets narrower on the outside edge) where as the 2118 are a straighter wheel giving more space. I’ve done 3 track days...

I’ve got oz ultraleggera’s and Speedline 2118 in et 37.. with the ultras I have to run a 15mm spacers. With the 2118 there is loads of room compared to the ultras. Think your have to go for a low et wheel..like et 25

Pound for pound the best mod for making a Clio go round a track faster is a limited slip differential.

I’m not sure which wires you need but you will need the resisters as they create a false reading to the air bag module to extinguish the light. Or.. take to a garage with clip where they can again access to air bag module and bypass the seat circuit. Rentec did mine

Pretty sure 182’s rear stub axels are 10mm wider as standard. I’ve got a ph1 172 with 10mm spacers in rear with et37 7j and haven’t had any rubbing. On the front I have ph2 subframe, caster wishbones, 182 cup roll center hubs and et37 wheels with 15mm spacers and 2.5 degrees camber.... pms...

@hostler ive just vented into the wheel well..I cut the hole in the inner arch so the air goes between the wheel and arch when driving straight. I did think about doing the deflector plate but I never get any fade on track with the way they are..not even after 30mins. I’m running 4pot Brembo’s...

^^^^^ this Pure motorsport exhaust is amazing compared to the ktec. Pretty quiet too with the middle silencer.... db readings are all on their web site
