I've never had the pleasure of driving an S2000 but a mate had one a couple of years ago. He's had an E92 335i and an S14a since and still wishes he'd never sold the S2k!
As far as I understand it you'd have to spend so much to get anything as good as the trophy that you'd be eating into the ~£2k difference quite considerably anyway. Just keep enjoying the trophy and don't worry about the mileage imo.
I use my main beam regularly as my xenons are gash. Haven't looked to see what bulbs are in there but they look like the cheap yellow type and they do the job fine. The aim is so high that I don't think it makes much of a difference.
£350 with poverty spec tyres?! He must be high! If you want some 182 alloys can you not find a better priced set and have them couriered? It's only ~£30 through paisley freight.

As long as they're well serviced they're good for well over 100k. I believe there's one on here on >180k. I'd much rather have a higher mileage example with a good history than a low mileage example with questionable history.
Dirty f*****s. Might be worth investing in a dash cam just in case it ever happens again. Wouldn't save the car but would at least save your reputation and potentially a lot of money with regards to the insurance.
04/54 reg with pressed plates and a castle combe sticker in the rear window spotted on the roundabout near the medical centre in Westbury. Anyone on here?
I thought they were pretty good tbh, I didn't experience much body roll. I'm assuming decent coilovers would be significantly better but for me that was hard to justify on a ~£2k car when I'll only be doing 3-4 track days a year. It's also my daily and I wanted it to remain bearable on rubbish...
Another thing I forgot to say was I'm a complete novice so even in mostly standard form, the car is still more capable than me. I'll probably spend a bit of money on some tuition next time - before I look at upgrading anything else!
I've just done a track day in my mostly standard 182 and it was faultless all day, really is such a capable little car. My only mods are new shocks, cooksport springs, induction, exhaust, sabelt steering wheel. Brakes were standard.
I ran on standard wheels with pirelli tyres in the morning and...
Anyone on here? Unfortunately didn't get a chance to speak to either driver. Didn't see the inferno out on track either but the RB seemed rapid to say the least!
OEM is ridiculously expensive IIRC. The scorpion RS192 is considered to be fairly quiet and is pretty reasonably priced at circa £400. Or get one custom made - a lot of reputable exhaust places offer lifetime guarantees on their systems.
