My advice if your unsure which route of tuning to take is to go to a show. Preferably cliosport festival or FCS and go out in some members cars from here. There's a lot of people with turbo'd, SC and bodies I expect and then once you've decided then look at tuning companies. All the tuners...
Thanks mate. Yes it goes well. I'd say it's in that performance bracket yes if not a little quicker as I've had a play with a few RS focus's and pulled away from all of them. A mildly tuned one would be a different story I'd imagine.
I've got the scenic modified shifter and really rate it. Miles better than the original one. Tbh though the PMS one is epic I imagine but haven't tried one.
It's not too bad tbh. If your keeping the standard seats I'm not sure whether the belt buckle will fit in the standard clasp but I could check for you. It comes with 7/16th bolts which fit the upper section fine but I had to destroy the original belts as I needed the bracket for the part that...
eBay mate, they're universal belts that I've had to modify a little to fit. You can get them in all manner of colours. The main reason for them, apart from colour was they came with the belt brackets.
Well they're in. Really pleased with them. Just need to get the rear carpet trimmed up along with a new alcantara gear gaiter. Then will be looking to make up a abarth bipisto rear harness style bar which will then finish off the interior. Anyway pics....
Seats are in!! Took the rear seats out and all other unnecessary gubbins. Really pleased with them. Just need to get the rear carpet trimmed up and a alcantara gear gaiter. Then I'm going to get a abarth bipisto style rear bar made up with some netting to jazz up the rear a bit. Don't...
I haven't mate I'm afraid. Looked ok but I was never fully happy with it and if I put them back on I would have them back as silver. Sorry if this is pissing on your chips mate
If your in the area (Midlands) I've got a set of trophy coloured cup turinis you can try if you want? Obviously then you'll still want the 2118's but hey, experimenting is what makes us different. Those rotas about 3 threads up look immense tho
You'll look around at all different types of wheels, try some, like some, then you'll do what every other discerning gent does and buy some 2118's. :tongueout:
