yup there's some peachy overtaking to be done on the A9 if the conditions allow... my "personal best" was a queue of 10 or so cars behind a caravan, lovely straight bit of road (they've made it a crawler lane now). quite lucky of course that none of them wobbled out in front of me without...
another pet peeve of mine is ppl who potter about at 40 and then suddenly put the juice on when a crawler lane appears... at the end of the crawler lane they slow back down again  rah!
exactly, why wouldnt they defend the ZR? otherwise they would be driving clio's instead.
horses for courses (and thats coming from a former rover owner ;))
rover is no better or worse than renault imo!
u guys have plenty to complain about with ur steering wheels melting etc!
thats never...
i'm with diamond cos they were cheap when i had the rover, and rather than re-start my third year of ncb with someone else i've transferred the policy onto the clio for the last couple of months. it might change come renewal time tho!
moneysupermarket.com have an insurance section which is...
always makes me laugh when ppl have booted it past me and then i've effortlessly (and legally I might add) caught up with them at the next junction anyway - need? :butt:
but can it be used in conjunction with the cd changer? sounds like it can only run as a substitute :S
i have to say £99 seems a bit steep for what is essentially a cable. it cost more than my pod! how hard can it be to pull the head unit out and feed it in urself?
should be able to either add to your policy for the day or be named on her policy for the day. they can tell u which is cheapest. i got additional cover on my policy for my dads coupe for 1 month and it cost me £60 (tpo). also consider that perhaps only one of those options will give u...
its b****cks isnt it. used to always have problems explaining my rover 220 and my dads 1.8 vvc coupe, which bizarrely has more bhp, less weight and yet is a lower insurance group :S go figure!
could well be! i must admit i'm mystified. it was there when I bought it, other than that the car is in great condition so I let it go. but it is starting to bother me now lol. its definitely not a door prang i dont think as its too high up
i suspected as much! oh well saved myself £12 there ;)
i wouldnt dare have a go at bashing it out myself, it would doubtless end in tears. just getting the door lining off would try my patience lol
might take it along to the bodyshop if/when i'm feeling flush...
cup owners will say buy the cup. full-fat owners will say buy that one ;)
basically it comes down to whether u can live without abs & air-con.
personally i agree the cup is a much nicer looking car (esp with turini's) but i wouldnt be without abs in this day and age!
i only talk to 2 or 3 ppl regularly on msn, the rest i never start convs with as i assume they are too busy to chat to me! get windows live messenger and u can chat to ppl whilst appearing offline :D
any cop? there is a small dent under my wing mirror that i'm trying to decide whether its worth repairing, for another dent elsewhere will surely appear!! :S
what he said. :approve: got mine a few weeks ago and am loving it :D tho the torque-steer is a bit unsettling at first!
as for being 33 and getting a "sensible" car, i think coming from 300+ bhp u can easily justify the clio in that bracket, altho u might be shocked by the difference in...
