I managed to get a set back to life that where in worse state than this with Polish believe it or not. Whether i'd put that much effort in to them again tho....
As far as I'm aware if the car is still in warranty Renault will cover the labour to investigate the issue. If it's wear & tear tho expect a bill for the parts.
I've always found lightened flywheels a pain in the arse on the road as fundementally you are removing the mass that keep the engines momentum up. Yes it does feel more responsive but on day to day basis they are a pain for stalling.

The most 'desirable' spec is a FF 200 with cup packs, Speedline wheels & Recaro's. This argueably will help with resale etc.
From my experience I'd check the transmission thoroughly.
Otherwise great little cars & a riot to drive.
