This morning I thought there was something majorly wrong with my car whilst driving to work.
Every time I turned right there was a very loud knocking from the nearside front, so bad that I could feel it through the car.
Up on inspection I have somehow picked up a MASSIVE lump of road tar which...
If your not ever going to put the car back to a 'car' and leave it as a Van, you could just rattle can the inside of the rear windows Black... That what I did with my old Escort estate i used as a van.
Are you saying your car is EG:
Reg from new - 'AB53CDE'
You want to put on Private reg 'DAZ1'
And put AB53CDE on rentention?
If so dont bother.... THE DVLA will simply reassign you AB53CDE if and when you take your DAZ1 plate off, failing that they will just give you another age related...
Blooyd hell Rob, you dont hang around!
Moving along very quickly... The Little Clio is awesome on Track at Brands, did my 1st Track day there in my cup, Paddock hill FTW
Thats a Great bit of road... i head up once a year with a few mates, have to becareful of the suicidal bikers though!
i got overtake on the Hairpin by a guy on a hyabusa who was totally horizontal
When i say unlikely it exists, I mean for 'Public' consumption.
I run one at work as well, but its a Trade system that has rather large cost implications
I have some metal work that is 'plastic coated' and need to strip this back...
The said metal has just been in a 80 Grit Sand Blaster and its just bouncing off, Im going top be here all week (Quite literally) trying to Sand Blast it off!
Has anyone got any other ideas?
A suggestion made by...
I have, as Jenic has, just purchased what i beleive to be a Caged Bolt in 1/2 cage that mounts to existing mounts in the car.

Made me wonder...
1)...
Yeah It must be a few years...Im good Cheers, Sham about the Nova, Think the last time I heard of you was just after the fire :(The Clio will see you right, Good fun on Track, Get the Foglights out and use them as Brake cooling Ducts.
Its all down to Personal Choice...
I personally would bin the Wax in favour of a sealant with good durability - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealants/finishkare-1000p-hi-temp-sealant/prod_589.html So far I am up to about 5 months between applications and its still beading nicely!
I've got mine on now to... Really makes a huge difference, I have mine set as you, fairly neutral..... Dont lift on on roundabouts is all I can say! Bit of a Moment early morning last week on way home from a mates, resulted me exiting the industrial estate I cut through Fast and Furious Tokyo...
Lol well I got it dirt cheap so will see how it gets on.
Plan on changing a few bits over winter anyway (JMS RS Xtra inlet and map which hopeful TDF can do rather than driving up to Leeds to RS Tuning) so if I have lost power the 421 will go in the bin and the 172 manifold will go back on!
Im sure one of the 'CS Pervs' will be along shortly to offer to fill up your empty box :rasp:
No worries Dawn, always happy to punt some business in someone elses direction if I can :)
