Exactly what I thought. After meeting them in person and asking plenty of questions I was more than reassured about the conversion and the work they do.
It's booked to have the 230bhp kit from engine dynamics on the 12th. Because it's low boost i'm hoping it's still reliable enough to drive as a daily to work which is only a 10 mile round trip.
I only say 'hoping' because I was fairly certain it would be until I read this thread. lol.
Thanks mate, this is similar to what i'm experiencing. The car has never felt better since fitting them so i'm leaning towards this being the cause of the noise.
Cheers for the heads up, that's something i'll look into.
This is my thinking too. I'm praying it's not got a fault in it though as the car is set to get a turbo fitted in a weeks time lol. Would be terrible timing.
So I have just fitted a KTEC uprated engine mount and upper gear box mount, i've had them before so was expecting the increased vibration which I mostly get at idle, but there is a strange and very faint high pitch (almost like a supercharger. LOL ) whining noise now coming from the front of the...
I always glance at the driver before hand before i'll commit to giving a nod... which either works great or turns into us both having one of those 'what the f**k is he staring at' moments.
Not sure if this has been asked before, so here it goes. I'm considering joining the ever growing number of people boosting their clios. Going to use either the engine dynamics 230bhp kit or the one from ClioTurbo for my 172 Cup.
My question is, could someone that has little mechanical...
So after receiving the go ahead from the other half it would seem that I'm allowed to book my car in with Engine Dynamics soon to get the car boosted. Pretty exciting. Going to be getting the 230bhp kit.
I'm well up for this. Had the car for a while now and wanted to get it on the Dyno for some time.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you. The only thing i've noticed so far is that the car tramlines a lot more on the motorway and now feels incredibly unstable at 70mph +. I'll probably go for 195's next.
@hsustyle It's ok mate, was very short notice I know!. Oh ok cool, yeah bring the 200 for sure! Pretty busy the rest of the week so perhaps some time next week.
Not sure if this is any help as it's about 1 hour 20 minutes away from Essex but Yiannimize seems like a good vehicle wrapper with plenty of testimonials and some impressive portfolio cars.
A mate of mine was recently quoted £1500 for a 10 plate BMW 3 series to be wrapped in metallic grey (not...
@Danny_172 Cheers mate. Thats a good point, never really thought about that but it's a good incentive to keep a project thread updated regularly!. @hsustyle Yeah mate we will have to meet up and take some photos, nice Cup btw.
Quick update with plenty of pictures:
My Magnecor Leads finally came today so I managed to fit them along with a new set of NGK spark plugs to help the car run a bit better. It was misfiring a little bit.
Also managed to sort my reverse lights out which i'm really pleased about. £10 off ebay for...
Got the wheels back Yesterday from Lepsons and couldn't be happier with how they look. Fitted them to the car along with some new wheel nuts.
Brand new centre caps in!
Fresh wheel nuts from Euro Car Parts.
Fitted and looking spot on.
A few of the splitter as well.
Thats all for...
Having come from a 172 cup, to a Fiesta ST and then back again, I couldn't agree more. At first I hated the step down again but it has become easier over time lol.
Car looks great mate and those roads look fantastic.
Loving the car mate, just been browsing through your whole project thread!
In response to your last comment, it seems a bit of shame to sell such a nice example with all the time and money you've spent on it...
Some more updates. A lot of £'s have been spent recently, but slowly the car is coming together. A quick list of what i've done in the past month:
Ordered some new Cup badges for the doors and rear. Also got some fresh Turini centre caps.
New standard splitter also purchased and fitted. Looks...
I'd just sell it as it is for someone else to sort. Even though i'd happily pay around 2.5 - 3k if it was repaired, i'd still be put off by how it my effect me selling it on in the future.
Thought it might be appropriate to upload some of these. Spotted at Ace Cafe's Incarnation in Brighton the other day.
Everyone loves a bit of ford content.
So much want:
This one got a lot of attention. No idea why. It's pretty subtle...
