u can get arches for around £100 if u look hard i got some 5gtt arches (drivers side) but sold the passenger side as got rid of my old r5 - now i seem to be regretting that :(

do some clios come with them as standard? I know some r5s came with them. Cant get my clock to work anymore and its starting to bug me :\

the long black plug that connects to it with all these wires in it got me worried :\

i have done it but its fiddly and a pain - but well worth it

by the way this is on a mk1 clio

i need to unplug the immobilser switch so i can get at the cigar lighter socket. Thing is i havent a clue when it comes to security - if i just unplugged it with the red light flashing, will it C*ck up the engine or would I need the ignition on before I pull out the bottom plug

foliatec is about 15 quid for the colour spray can, another #15 for the sealer and yet another 15 for the primer

Just got mine done for my 1.2 8v - cost me 65 quid for a 16v i would expect around 120 - 130 to be reasonable. sorry about lack of pound signs. Using dodgy work computer :\

Started to mod my interior to make the driving experience nice lol. Re-sprayed the clock to silver, fiited a blue led to it to make it nicer, metal monkey heater plate, re-sprayed the heater knobs silver, white led in back of heater plate, 10cm sony explods in the dash, cd player - not too much...

The novas round where i live suck - ppl round here treat 1.2 novas like supercars until i whip by them in my 1.2 lol

Just a standard cambelt change from a mates garage no service (that i know of) was done to the car at the time

just had my cambelt changed and have noticed a big improvementon my acceleration. Is it just me or do cambelts increase performance?

is the Edis module conversion a DIY job?

Ill give it a try but done the same sort of thing for my old r5 but it didnt work properly and half the lights didnt work on the guage. If anyone has done this pls let me know :)

im thinking of getting a tachometer for my dash (as my model doesnt come with one) and I was just wondering if its hard to wire one up as im not the sort of person who does electrical stuff :\

Standard 1.2 8v - Had it for about 7 months, goes quite fast for a 1.2 as its totally standard (at the moment anyway)

65.500 on my n reg 1.2 - i had a F reg r5 that only had 95k on it when i got it

I work for an insurance company and its the first time ive heard about it - in the uk anyway lol

Looking for more power really dunno how much more I could get with 60bhp as standard :\ im not really good at saving :P

is there much point in me doing this: 1996 1.2rl (d7f) engine 8v or saving up for over a year and getting a 1.4 16v?

Got a 1.2rl 8v and have a split decision whether to tune the engine and other bits or save up for around a year and get a 1.4 16v - any ideas on what i should do?

thinking of buying one and just wondering how far the engine can go without having to de-cat the exhaust
