I use an Adaptronic ecu - which including fitting AND mapping was still less than the initial purchase price of a Gen90. Andyrg supplies and fits these.

Yup my gearbox seems to be holding up well with nearly 300lbft. Traction can be an issue.

My mounts are only 18 months (ish) old and they have similar clearance to yours by the looks of it? (more angled if anything)

Just checked mine - there isn't much thread showing on mine, maybe it's just the very top part of the shock that's different?

It's had a couple of teething issues - an oil leak from the engine build and an ill fitting link pipe - both of which amounted to just over a day in a garage. Apart from that it's been as usable and reliable as a normal 182.
