I guess it's down to personal preference, but i prefer the ph2 llights and if I'm honest i havn't completley written off getting a ph2 bumper sprayed. But i wouldn't get rid of any of the original bits.
I needed to add a couple of grand to my house deposit fund, this seemed like the easiest way.
I do miss the looks of the Monaco, but got to say the PH1 is more fun to drive.
Kings of Leon were amazing, did you and your girlfriend enjoy it? Got my pot off on Friday so quite happy about that.

Sold my Monaco PH2 about 6/7 weeks ago and a week or so later bought a PH1 in Titanium. Owned the Monaco about a year, was 100% standard when I got it.
I've lowered the Phase 1 on Sportlines, added PH2 lights and clear side repeaters.
Yes there were already screws in the bumper, but none of them got in the way of the splitter. I fitted it to my ph2 172 and it did need to be bent quite a bit, but they are flexible.
I didn't have to cut the splitter to allow for holes.
I marked off the centre of the bumper and then using masking tape I positioned one half of the splitter (not the curve I left that hanging free). I then drilled holes in the bumper to line up with the slots of the splitter, starting in the...
I replaced the relay, which seems to have sorted the alarm out but it's still clicking and try to lock and unlock itself once the igntion is on.
Auto-electrics job i think.
sounds like it's better off dis-connected and a decent steering lock.
If you had the stereo on Evil you probabbly wouldn't notice the clicking when driving, I didn't to start with.
Cheers Evil, might try and do that at the weekend. Could you hear a clicking from under the glovebox when driving? just been out and connected the battery and touch wood it seems to be ok now. French electrics!
Just walked up to my car, ulocked it with the fob as usual and opened the door, which set the alarm off. Pressed the fob again thinking this would turn the alarm off but it didn't. After about a minute the alarm went off on it's own. So I locked the car and tried again, same thing happened. But...
