    Personally yes, you will get similar power gains with that as 428's and a remap.. plus it will drive better

    Brian Yes.. SC power isnt HUGE! but it is very fast.... but very tractable.. As Andy says cams and itbs are close to SC low boost cost... but they are different in delivery..

    428's are currently the only option in that range to run on stock managment 421's or above wont idle

    that was his old engine, not the new one........ we power ran it as it was mapped after we fitted bodies about 2 years ago with its previous owner.

    I was talking about the AST's they may not suit your driving style Fred. On track for HARD driving I needed them to be stronger... not softer....

    Personally I use AST dampers. We sell both. I find the KW's dont give the chassis control I like in comparison I like the fact that I can re valve them, the build quality is excellent. These are my personal preferences Andy

    A world 1st, Dan and Fred agree on something... I have to agree, on a TOP engine it may be worth it, but I certainly havn't bothered on any of my engines for myself. A decent balance as the guys said is far better, removing weight from the flywheel is as advantageous really in this instance. Andy

    Re: Cup TT ?? 20v engine is good, but its heavy so needs MORE power Min 300bhp to make it worth doing. To do it properly though is not easy, as it needs engine mounts, alot of subframe work. if its big power custom shafts are a must as well.

    We used to find on the rollers I have used in the past that wheel calculated speed is reasonably accurate upto certain speeds. but they as the tire inflates and heats up the losses were inaccurate.
