The idea is the vehicle should be in pre accident condition upon collection. If it was me i'd be ultra picky, if you aren't happy don't accept it, you pay your insurance & we all get fisted for it so it should be right!
I don't bounce mine off the limiter but she goes through the range when she's warm, I wouldn't even dream of booting it until I'd been driving a good 10-20 minutes.
This is terrible!
Providing you weren't parked where you shouldn't be the company I imagine is liable seeing as it was because of a staff members actions thats caused the damage, not to mention the fact they've damaged it further trying to rectify the mess they'd already made. Barrels of oil...
I've always liked the look of these to be honest, especially in arden blue. Engine is very tunable! They need a diff big time IMO & I'm not keen on the gearbox characteristics. The dash is the work of the devil as well, it really is pony!
Hardly a bad car tho, I wouldn't mind one.
I'd be interested to know what it is, someone did tell me once when I was working up at Donny, but I've forgotton, I remember them saying it was a few dollars tho..
Get some WD40 or similar round the plugs & engine block to pentrate the thread. Warm the engine up then do as above. Metal expands when it's hot & is less brittle. Go very easy or you'll be in deep Sh1t.
(Copper slip threads on new plugs)
Done 1900 miles in mine now, it really has come alive. I do not believe the MPG figures to be honest with you they don't add up!
I've not had anything over 28mpg out of it but i've been getting more to a tank than my old car that was doing 32 for the most part & they have the same size tank...
