Sorry mate, came across wrong.....
Painting is a good idea, you can also get brembo decals (stickers) off ebay to put ontop of the painted caliper.
Also found these...
I think I am going to get some of that , sounds great. Ive got some brand new alloys that I will be using it on. Do you think there would be any problems with wheel weights not sticking to the alloy after applying the C5. (I havent put tyres on the alloys yet or had them balanced etc.)
Wow that looks stunning. What were the deals like when they were on, never heard about them. What did it set you back if you dont mind me being cheeky.
also did you have to ask for the side stickers?
Shame they are so rough but still a good price, doubt its cheap to get them fixed - if it was me would want to reupholster the drivers seat or buy new covers for it.
Hi mate,
Any chance you could take a pic of the washers - I bought a powerflexed dogbone and didnt get any washers with it. Just need to know what to buy off ebay to complete it.
@Meek_racing Let me know if you need a cheap workstation for this - I dont know the exact spec but have some high end Dell workstations with Xeon processors that would be perfect for CAD work, like @Steven103 says they have something silly like 16 cores.
I saw these the other day, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Clio-172-182-Brake-Duct-Scoops-cold-air-intake-PERFECT-FIT-tough-plastic-/321661116003?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item4ae47f1e63
Not sure if anyone has tried them but they look pretty good.
PMS sell the 10mm rear spacers for £25 and comes with new nuts n bolts. they also sell the nuts and bolts separately but you have to call them for that.
Like you said metal polish is what you need, cleans up exhausts really well.
I believe the yozza tips are the same diameter as miltek exhausts, what I use that works extremely well is this...
Yeah, its a rare Renault sport spider, engine from a Clio williams I believe. They go for a lot of money but never sold very well as was competing against the Elise which is perhaps better looking and performs better.
Nice read !! Love this kind of stuff.
Funnily enough I have been preparing some uprights/hubs this weekend too. The ones I had were rusty as hell but rather than shot blasting I have been using DEOX C in a bucket for the last few days. The rust just falls off and you are left with shiny metal...
