I want to buy some wax for my BG 182 for summer use. It doesnt need to last ages as I like car cleaning in the summer. I dont want to spend stupid amounts. I spotted this Chemical Guys back luminous glow wax http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/chemical-guys-black-luminous-glow-wax/prod_1174.html...
I bought one of these brushes http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-250311-Wheel-Cleaning-Brush/dp/B001C7QZJ0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1429918435&sr=8-2&keywords=wheel brush
snapped the handle off and attach the brush part to a cordless drill. then use liberal amounts of metal polish with it and go...
They look great and I know what you mean about not being perfect. I spent ages doing my lights wet sanding like crazy - working my way through the different grades and even machine polished them after that too. But they werent completely immaculate, few small stone dents and some patchy areas...
like said check you havent left any tools obstructing the closure of the bonnet. use a screw driver to push the latch above the grill to the right, where the bonnet pin goes into, wiggle it and lubricate it.
Thats a really nice interior, about as good as it gets, you have the best of everything there.
What do you think to having the gearstick gaitor retrimmed with yellow stitching? might be a bit too much yellow?
Full credit to @Yanoo for sending the spare parts for the gears issue. What a legend.
If you are feeling flush why not get some 197 Brembos, I found some cheap and brand new ones on Ebay The seller is also a member on here and has 9 pairs I think going from what it says on Ebay. Then get the...
Like that a lot. I really like the silver turinis and silver side bullets, but the 2118's are just as nice. Do you think the rear bearing was due to the rear spacer or just bad luck? PMS do a nice rear stub axel spacer.
I would buy the new calipers and then drop your carriers in a small tub of bilthamber Deox C for a day or two. They will come out looking brand new. You can then have them plated or powder coated.
Are you sure the pulsating is not the discs or ABS.
Go for it, Suede or Alcantara looks but mainly feels so much better on the wheel. 'Royal Steering wheels' are the ones to go for if you want suede/alcantara.
Thanks Dan will get mine setup next week with tracking as well using the settings you suggested.
Really am loving the bilsteins they really come into their own on really fast sweeping corners. Got a few other things fitted in the last few days. Went for PMS top mounts and strut bar also my...
They are pretty good, I dont get any scrubbing and didnt need to raise the coilovers. I havent had the bilsteins set up properly all I have done so far is use the setting they came on but raised it by 6 threads on each side. The back is as low as they go though. I am going to get pictures after...
Im a bit stuck at the moment. I need somewhere that would be able to use a lathe to take 2mm off the diameter of some brake discs. I have tried to google everything I can think of but nothing is coming up.
Ive got some 300mm discs and some 4pot calipers and mounts which are great but there is...
Thanks mate. I had some other 16mm spacers I used instead. 25mm ones would have been too much and would have needed to raise the coilovers much more or cut the arch liners to stop the scrubbing.
