crack in exhaust manifold? on the exhaust manifold behind the engine tap each of the 4 pipes with a screw driver or knuckle and see if one sounds different.

They can be made to look nearly brand new again, needs a good few hours of work but well worth it.

pretty sure 406 Brembos may be the solution as long as you have et38 wheels.
